History
For over 94 years, Fogel-Anderson Construction Co. continues to provide commercial building construction services to satisfied clients across the Midwest. In 1917 Fogel & Son was incorporated in the State of Missouri. It was in 1922 that Oscar “O.T.” Anderson joined the Fogel’s, and his son, Theodore “Ted” A. Anderson, joined in 1953. In 1954 the Company’s name was then changed to Fogel-Anderson Construction Co.
Since 1997 we have operated under the guidance of President, Phillip D. Bartolotta, step-son of Ted A. Anderson. Coming up through the ranks, Phil has worked in nearly every position in the company since he joined the family business in 1975, and today he continues our proud tradition as a family-owned and operated business. With Phil’s thorough knowledge of the Midwest construction marketplace he is a driving force in the organization as it builds upon its forward momentum
Fogel-Anderson personifies our culture through sustaining our success into the fifth generation of executive management. In 2004, JoLynne Bartolotta, Phil’s daughter and fifth generation of the Anderson family, entered the business that her father and grandfather made successful during previous years. In April of 2011, Phil announced her promotion to Vice President.
As a commercial contractor, Fogel-Anderson is currently licensed in five states, primarily providing construction services in Missouri and Kansas. The Company has worked on many of the Kansas City area’s landmark buildings, including the old Paseo High School and the Blue Ridge Bank and Trust building in Independence, Missouri. While the company has had a hand in projects all over the metropolitan area, Fogel-Anderson has made a particularly big impact in eastern Jackson County where it has built dozens of schools, class-A offices and public buildings, as well as millions of square feet of retail space.
The company is located on the east side of downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The office and warehouse facilities are in one location, and have been since 1947. The location of Fogel-Anderson Construction Co. is at the heart of the Paseo West Industrial area with easy access to all main interstate and thoroughfares (I-35, I-70 and I-29).
Fogel-Anderson has a long track record of building both large and small projects for a variety of clients. The Company’s blend of management and construction know-how have helped put unknown entrepreneurs on the map and extended their reach to Fortune 500 companies. From hotels to office buildings, warehouse to educational facilities, Fogel-Anderson has the experience to transform dreams into bricks and mortar, and make bold corporate strategies a reality.
