Sq.Ft./Size: 83,500 SF
Location: Stilwell, Kansas
Delivery Method: Construction Manager

Similar to the other nine Service Centers built by Fogel-Anderson Construction Co. during the 1990’s for the Kansas City Power & Light Co., the Southland Service Center also incorporated other features of sustainable Design. The Meter Building and Office/Support Building were heated by a geothermal loop system, which uses the earth as a highly-proficient, natural heating & cooling source. The buildings included both motion-detecting and light-level sensors that operated and adjusted the high-efficiency lighting systems in individual rooms to minimize power usage.
