Wal*Mart and Lowe's Home Improvement Centers

Invariably, "Big Box" stores like Lowe’s Home Improvement Centers and Wal*Mart "Super Centers" are just that - large open buildings with minimal interior finishes (save for the floors). The exterior finish materials range from split-face or scored concrete block, brick and concrete block and architectural pre-cast concrete wall panels. Sizes range from 99,000 square feet (usually in rural communities) to 198,000 + square feet in the "Super Centers".
What separates each Project from another is the site. In a continuing effort to purchase sites for the least possible dollar, "Big Box" owners leave site adaption to the Design and Construction Team.
