Inside the Project
Fogel-Anderson approaches everything we do with a pro-active, team attitude. We like to work with our clients and the design team as early as possible in the planning stage to develop an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) team, and assist in the coordination of proper construction planning and organization. With our flexible services we are able to customize each project to suit the client’s needs.
Pre-Construction – During the program and design development stages, Fogel-Anderson works closely with the client and the design team to provide a clear picture of each project. Our cost estimates, and pre-construction schedules include a series of cost control, constructability, and quality control reviews that present realistic information allowing well-informed decisions to be made at the earliest possible stage. Fogel-Anderson’s commitment to upfront information enables the client to be in total control of their project, and provides tools for the entire team to effectively communicate, and design and coordinate the project.
Quality Assurance/Quality Control – Fogel-Anderson has a long history of providing quality construction. It is our tradition. Our QA/QC program ensures not only quality, but safety; it also assists in the prevention of deviations from the contract documents, and unnecessary change orders.
Safety – Fogel-Anderson recognizes the importance of providing a safe working environment at all times throughout the course of construction. The safety of all project team members, on-site personnel, and visitors associated with the projects will be a deciding factor in all of our strategies and approaches. The implementation of our safety policy has assisted in our achievement of a zero-incident rate for over 4 years. Our field and office staff, along with subcontractors/vendors on the jobsite is required to adhere to our policies; which are consistent with OSHA, ANSI and other nationally recognized standards.
Construction – With our turn-key construction services, our professional and experienced staff takes on full responsibility for all jobsite activities; including weekly progress meetings with subcontractors. We continue to collaboratively work with the client and the design team, and consistently perform as a client advocate. We monitor the project budget and schedule requirements, along with providing quality control and safety implementations on a daily basis. During construction, Fogel-Anderson keeps the best interest of the client in the forefront, and will supervise and construct each project as if it were our own,
Post-Construction – Upon substantial completion of a project, a series of walkthroughs take place. At this time any items in need of correction will be documented into a “punch-list” and we will coordinate with the appropriate contractors for a timely and accurate cure. Thorough and complete close-out documentation will be provided to you which will complete the administration of your project and which will allow you to maintain your new/renovated facility: Operations and Maintenance Manuals, Warranty Manuals and As-Built Drawings.
